Jennie Votta

Jennie Votta, DNP, FNP-C, is a Nurse Practitioner currently employed at Joslin Diabetes Center since November 2019, where collaboration with physicians and dietitians ensures comprehensive diabetes care, including management of insulin regimens. At CareWell Urgent Care, assisting since 2017, Jennie leads a team to address urgent care needs for patients aged six months and older, while previously serving as a Registered Nurse, focusing on patient evaluation and triage. Additionally, as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Medical School since June 2013, Jennie has contributed to public health research projects aimed at promoting healthy eating and activity in schools. Jennie holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from UMass Chan Medical School and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Merrimack College.
