Bill Neill

Bill Neill has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Bill has held various positions including strategy consultant, project manager, and billing consultant. Bill is currently the COO of Carex Consulting Group.

Bill started their career in healthcare as a reporting assessor for Covenant Health. In this role, they identified inefficiencies in IT report intake and requirements gathering and presented recommendations to executive leadership. Bill also worked closely with executive leadership to advise the new IT director on departmental goals and assess strategic organizational reporting needs with the CFO and CMIO.

From there, they became a project manager for Hyland, creator of OnBase. In this role, they managed three separate OnBase/Epic integration projects with over $1M of budget. Bill also Leveraged MS Project to create and maintain project schedules, guide timeline decisions, and resource allocation. Additionally, they oversaw discovery, solution design, build, training and testing for successful software implementation. Bill also analyzed HIM and PFS business requirements and designed a customized solution for scanned documentation.

Most recently, Bill has been working as a Resolute Professional Billing Consultant for ThedaCare. In this role, they provide expert guidance on the install and configuration of the Resolute Hospital Billing system. Bill also assists with go-live support and post-live optimization efforts.
