Lydia started their career as a Recruiting Director at Beacon Technologies Inc. (Midwest) from January 2012 to December 2015. In this role, they were responsible for recruiting and also worked with a team of Sr. Recruiters to improve processes, support the team culture, and help build the company.

In December 2015, Lydia became the Recruiting Manager at The Payroll Company, Inc. (TPC). Lydia stayed in this role until June 2019 when they transitioned to their current role as a Recruiting Consultant at Carex Consulting Group.

As the Recruiting Manager at TPC, Lydia was responsible for growing and managing the staffing services and recruiting team. Lydia partnered with the Sales team as well as directly with clients to hire IT and Finance positions for contract, contract to hire, or direct hire needs. Lydia also worked as a Corporate Recruiter, partnering with The Payroll Company's Hiring Managers on internal talent acquisition for their Payroll, Accounting, and CSR positions.

Lydia Lightfoot holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in English and Religious Studies. Lydia also has certification from Recruiting Innovation in Certified Technical Recruiter.
