Jacob Dungan has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Jacob then transitioned to the role of Systems Integration Engineer, developing ETL configurations and writing MIRTH transforms using JavaScript. Finally, as a Solution Engineer, Jacob led client HL7 implementations, designed and developed Java applications for automated HL7 analysis, and worked with the Indiana Department of Health on COVID-19 data aggregation.

From 2017 until the present, Jacob has also been self-employed as a Freelance Web Developer. Additionally, they are currently serving as the Lead Integration Engineer at CareXM since January 2022.

In their early career, Jacob held the position of Web Designer at Yorktown Library in 2009 and as a Web Master at Yorktown High School from 2008 to 2009, where they led a team and taught web design and software skills.
