Jacob Dungan

Jacob Dungan has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. In 2013, they worked as a Systems Analyst at IS Cardinal Solutions, where they collaborated with a team to develop a software solution for a reporting issue in Interactive Intelligence. From 2013 to 2014, Jacob served as a Web Developer at Spotted Monkey Marketing. Jacob then transitioned to a role as a Campus Minister at Fellowship of Catholic University Students from 2014 to 2016.

In 2016, Jacob joined Meridian Health Services as a Systems Analyst, responsible for systems administration and analysis for a behavioral health EMR system. During their tenure there, they also developed web services applications using Microsoft SSIS for ETL and file transfers.

In 2018, Jacob joined Indiana Health Information Exchange, where they had multiple roles. As a Systems Integration Analyst, they worked with clients to configure services and integrate HL7 messages, providing tier II customer support using SQL, MIRTH, and analytical skills. Jacob then transitioned to the role of Systems Integration Engineer, developing ETL configurations and writing MIRTH transforms using JavaScript. Finally, as a Solution Engineer, Jacob led client HL7 implementations, designed and developed Java applications for automated HL7 analysis, and worked with the Indiana Department of Health on COVID-19 data aggregation.

From 2017 until the present, Jacob has also been self-employed as a Freelance Web Developer. Additionally, they are currently serving as the Lead Integration Engineer at CareXM since January 2022.

In their early career, Jacob held the position of Web Designer at Yorktown Library in 2009 and as a Web Master at Yorktown High School from 2008 to 2009, where they led a team and taught web design and software skills.
