Samuel Mirikwe

Public Health Ambassador at CareYaya

Samuel Mirikwe has a diverse work experience starting in 2019 as a Camp Counselor/Coordinator for the Town of Chapel Hill, NC. In 2017, they worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Triangle Flooring Center. In 2022, they held multiple roles, including being a Student Library Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Basketball Referee and Operations Manager at UNC Campus Recreation. Samuel also worked as a Home Care Provider for CareYaya. Additionally, in 2022, they took on a General Management role at UNC Student Stores, where they monitored daily operations, set operational policies and budgets, and supported employees.

Samuel Mirikwe completed their education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2021 to 2025, where they obtained a degree in Exercise Sports Science. Prior to that, they attended Chapel Hill High School from 2017 to 2021 and earned their High School Diploma. During their time at Chapel Hill High School, Samuel also obtained certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid and PLTW Biomedical Science Qualification in June 2021.
