Allyson Willoughby has worked in a variety of legal roles over the last 23 years. Allyson began their career as a Senior Securities Litigation Associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison in 1997. In 2000, they joined eBay as an Associate General Counsel, Senior Litigation Counsel and Corporate Counsel. During their 8 year tenure, they were responsible for creating many of eBay's early site policies and procedures, regulatory issues and outreach, deciding whether to remove listings on eBay, working with law enforcement and creating anti-fraud measures. Allyson was also responsible for handling eBay's large lawsuits, including class actions and securities cases. In 2007, they moved to StubHub as Director of Legal Affairs (General Counsel), where they managed the legal department and handled all legal issues during a time when the company faced very public challenges to its business model, including legislative, regulatory and competitive challenges. Allyson also managed high-stakes litigation load and numerous regulatory challenges. In 2008, they became General Counsel for Method Products, where they were responsible for providing a wide range of advice to the business, reporting to the CEO. In 2010, they created the Legal Department at RockYou, a leading social gaming and media company, and was responsible for managing day to day legal needs and creating and implementing numerous legal systems. In 2012, they joined Glassdoor as General Counsel, SVP of People (HR) and Secretary, where they oversaw Legal, HR, Facilities and Customer Support as the company grew from 100 employees to 400 employees. Allyson was also responsible for all legal aspects of Glassdoor's business, including international expansion, litigation, privacy, product development, IP portfolio, domains, contracts, legal policies, compliance, corporate transactions, board management, stock administration. In 2015, they moved to CareZone, where they currently run Legal at a fast growing, well funded startup in the healthcare space. Allyson also headed up the HR team and their primary focus is Compliance, Corporate structure, Healthcare, Insurance and scaling.

Allyson Willoughby holds dual degrees in Economics and Sociology from Stanford University, as well as a JD from University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now UC Law San Francisco). Allyson is also certified by the California State Bar.
