Pin Koon Ee

Pin Koon Ee is currently a Scientist I at Cargene Therapeutics, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Research Fellow at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research from 2020. From 2016 to 2020, Pin Koon Ee was a Research Associate 1 at Illumina, where they worked with a team of biologists and chemists to synthesize modified nucleotides and study their interaction with various DNA polymerases. They also managed calibration and maintenance services of various equipments such as HPLC, mass spectrometer, freezers and ovens. Before this, they held a position as a Research Assistant at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology Centre from 2015.

Pin Koon Ee obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2016. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry from the same university, which they completed in 2021. Pin Koon also obtained a certification in Introduction to Genomic Technologies from Coursera in August 2020.
