Si Hui Tan has held a variety of roles in their career. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Writing Fellow and Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Si Hui then moved to A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research, where they served as a Research Officer from 2007 to 2008. During this time, they were also a PhD Candidate in Cancer Biology at Stanford University School of Medicine. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Graduate Writing Consultant and Oral Communication Tutor at Stanford University. In 2015, they became Consulting Lead at Biotech Connection Singapore. Finally, from 2014 to 2020, they held the roles of Research Scientist, Senior Research Fellow, and Associate Director, Biology at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research, and Senior Director at Cargene Therapeutics.
Si Hui Tan received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Cancer Biology from Stanford University School of Medicine in 2014.
