XiangQian (XQ) Lin has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the biotechnology industry. XiangQian (XQ) started their career in Esco, where they climbed the ladder and transformed the company into a global life sciences equipment manufacturer. During their time at Esco, they held roles such as IT manager, export manager, and eventually became the Vice President. XQ Lin also founded and managed Esco Technologies, Inc., the US subsidiary of Esco.
In recent years, XQ Lin has been involved in founding and investing in several biotech companies. XiangQian (XQ) is the Chairman and Founder of Carmine Therapeutics, a gene therapy company, and the Founder and Chairman of EVX Ventures, which builds, incubates, and invests in biotech startups. XQ Lin is also a Co-Founder of Cargene Therapeutics and a Founding Investor of Nuevocor.
Additionally, XQ Lin has founded Carcell Biopharma and currently serves as the Chairman and CEO of Esco, where they focus on M&A, expanding in China and the US, and developing cell and gene therapy tools and technologies.
XiangQian (XQ) Lin pursued their education at The Wharton School from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a focus on Finance. Prior to that, XQ attended Raffles Institution, participating in the Gifted Education Program. Specific dates for this program were not provided.
