Aedo van der Weij

Aedo van der Weij serves as the Sustainability Operations Director and Managing Director at Cargill Ghana, where strategic leadership is provided for the cocoa processing plant and sourcing operations, alongside the 'Cargill Cocoa Promise' sustainability program. With extensive experience at Cargill since September 2003, Aedo has held various key roles, including Program Manager for Cocoa Asset Footprint, Site Manager for Cargill Cocoa and Chocolate in Germany, and Truck Mode Lead for the EMEA region. Aedo also has a background in cocoa purchasing with OGEPAR S.A. and executive experience in turnaround strategies for Rwandamotor and Procobu. Aedo's educational credentials include a Master's degree in Handelsingenieur and a focus on international business from KU Leuven.
