Barry C. Shaul is an accomplished security executive with extensive experience in both corporate and governmental sectors. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Security Officer at Cargill since March 2020, Barry previously held the position of Director of Business Security and Physical Security at General Mills, where responsibilities included leading global security strategy and overseeing various physical security programs. Prior experience includes a decade with the U.S. Department of State's Diplomatic Security Service, with roles ranging from Assistant Shift Leader for the Secretary of State Protective Detail to operational duties in the Regional Security Office in Rome. Barry's public safety background includes service as a police officer with the City of Orange Police Department. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, a Bachelor's degree from Cornell College, and an Executive Education Certificate in Leadership and Business Management from INSEAD.
