Kevin Rapp is a seasoned consultant and scientist with extensive experience in the electrical power industry, beginning their career in 1976 at McGraw Edison Corp. They played a pivotal role in developing and patenting vegetable-based liquids for electrical equipment at Cooper Power Systems, earning a U.S.-EPA Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award in 2013. After moving to Cargill in 2012, Rapp helped to standardize electrical insulating liquids globally and contributed to the widespread use of natural ester liquids in transformers. Currently, they serve as a technical consultant while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee/Parkside.
