Luis Vazquez

Luis Vazquez is an accomplished professional in packaging innovation and development, currently serving as the Global Food-Processing and Packaging Innovation and Development Lead at Cargill since October 2021. With a rich background in packaging project leadership at Danone Nutricia Research, where notable roles included leading R&D packaging upstream innovation projects and managing packaging technology for advanced medical nutrition, Luis has demonstrated expertise in developing new materials beyond plastics. Prior experiences include key positions at Danone Waters, Coca-Cola FEMSA, and Procter & Gamble, where Luis contributed to various packaging engineering projects and established packaging departments. Luis holds a Master of Engineering in Quality & Productivity, a Diploma in Packaging Engineering & Design, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering from prominent institutions in Mexico.
