Sophie Davies

Sophie Davies is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing technology, particularly in the biochemical and brewing sectors. Currently serving as a Regional Manufacturing Technology Senior Engineer at Cargill since October 2018, Sophie has developed expertise across five production sites in the EMEA region, focusing on fuel and beverage alcohol production. Previous roles at Cargill include interim Regional Manufacturing Technology Lead and Manufacturing Technology Engineer, where contributions significantly enhanced operational efficiency and process safety. Prior experience includes key positions at Anheuser-Busch InBev, managing various brewing operations and continuous improvement projects, as well as internship roles at AstraZeneca and Rolls-Royce. Sophie holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering with Biotechnology from The University of Manchester and a Diploma in Brewing from The Institute of Brewing and Distilling.
