Tasha Hermes has held various positions at Cargill since January 2016, currently serving as Director and previously as R&D Manager, focusing on alternative protein research and development, particularly in meat analogs. Tasha also contributed as Principal Scientist of innovation within Cargill's protein division. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. Scientist and Scientist II at Tyson Foods (formerly Hillshire Brands) and Hillshire Brands, where Tasha started as Scientist I. Tasha earned a Master of Science in Food Science and a Bachelor's degree in Food Science from Michigan State University.
