Marika Sherman

Marika Sherman currently serves as the Director and Head of Clinical Pharmacology, Translational Medicine at CARGO Therapeutics since April 2023, after holding the position of Associate Director of Translational Medicine at Instil Bio and Kite Pharma. With extensive experience in pharmacodynamic cytokine profiling and translational medicine, Marika has led key projects in CAR-T therapies, managed teams, and coordinated external vendor collaborations. Previous roles include contributions at Amgen and MedImmune, focusing on oncology and bioanalytical sciences, including the development of immunoassays and clinical protocols. Marika holds a Master of Science in Health Sciences in Clinical Research Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Rutgers University.
