Boris Timm

Boris Timm serves as Chief Operating Officer and member of the Executive Board of CargoBeamer AG. He started his career with the shipping and logistics enterprise Maersk, where Timm worked in the areas of business development, line management and customer service in Europe and Asia. Later, he led the company's business in the Horn of Africa (Sudan) as managing director and board member. After holding positions at Maersk’s headquarter in Copenhagen for Seago Line and as CCO for wein&co Ltd in Taiwan, Timm returned to Maersk in 2017 as Head of Landside Transportation, where he went on to manage its European intermodal business. From 2020, as Head of Intermodal at Amazon, he was responsible for the development and rapid scaling of Amazon’s intermodal activities in Europe. With his move to CargoBeamer in early 2022, Timm leads the business units of Terminal & Rail Operations, Scheduling, Sales, and Logistics Management as COO.
