Erica Pezzica

Erica Pezzica has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Co-Founder, COO and CFO at Cargoful, a next-generation automation platform for trucking operations. Erica joined Cargoful in April 2020 and continues to contribute to the company's success.

Prior to their role at Cargoful, Erica worked at McKinsey & Company, where they held various positions. Erica started as a Business Analyst in September 2016 and later became an Associate Consultant from August 2018 to August 2019. Erica then took an educational leave from August 2019 to October 2021. Upon their return, they served as a Senior Associate Consultant from November 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining McKinsey, Erica was a Research Student at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from September 2015 to April 2016. During their time there, they worked on their Master's Thesis in Computational Fluid Dynamics, focusing on the stability, control, and optimization of wind turbines' wakes within a wind farm.

Lastly, Erica gained research experience as a Research Student at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory from August 2013 to October 2013. Erica conducted experiments on active mirrors used by space telescopes, studying their static and dynamic properties through modal analysis.

Erica Pezzica has a diverse education history. Erica obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the London Business School from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and Università di Pisa from 2013 to 2015. During the same period, they also completed a Master's degree in Space Engineering at Università di Pisa.
