Darren Sulfridge

Darren Sulfridge has been working in the software engineering industry since 1994. Darren began their career as a Consultant at PowerCerv, where they provided on-site consulting, software development, and mentoring for customers utilizing Powerbuilder with Watcom and SQL Server database back-ends. Darren then worked as a Software Developer at Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems, where they were a key member of a team responsible for maintaining the Telegence billing system. From 1996 to 2002, Sulfridge worked at DB Microware, Inc. as a Senior Engineer, where they were responsible for the coding of a major commercialized field service system using PowerBuilder 5. Darren then moved to Neptune Technology Group, where they held the roles of Principal Security and Software Architect and Principal Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for enterprise level system architecture, innovation, and strategy, as well as security implementation and oversight for all company products. From 2019 to 2021, Sulfridge worked at CalAmp as a Principal Solutions Engineer and Senior Sales Engineer. Darren is currently employed at CargoSense as a Principal Solutions Engineer and Senior Solutions Engineer.

Darren Sulfridge obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Computer Science from Texas State Technical College between 1992 and 1994. In November 2018, they also obtained the Cert Prep: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from LinkedIn.
