Marcela DeRidder

Marcela DeRidder has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Marcela began their career in 2000 as a Consultant at CTL Inc. In 2001, they moved to Comunicar Wireless where they served as Operations Manager, responsible for configuring and installing high frequency network equipment and networks based in CDPD and GSM/GPRS, as well as providing support to end users. In 2004, Marcela moved to Enfora as a Field Application Engineer, where they were responsible for troubleshooting modem and network issues, performing product acceptance and regression testing, and assisting integrators with hardware level integration of GSM/GPRS/EDGE OEM modules. From 2006 to 2016, Marcela worked at Novatel Wireless as a Field Application Engineer IV, providing pre and post sales technical support, coordinating and performing certification homologations activities, and delivering formal trainings and product demonstrations. From 2016 to 2021, Marcela worked at CalAmp as a Sr Solutions Engineer LATAM and Sr Field Application Engineer, where they were a technical liaison between Latin American customers and CalAmp, part of the New Products Core team, and co-ordinated and performed homologations with carriers in Latin America. Marcela currently works at CargoSense, Inc. as a Sr Solution Engineer.

Marcela DeRidder completed their Electronic Engineer degree from Universidad Santo Tomás in 2003. Marcela then went on to pursue a Postgrado degree in Telecommunications Management from Universidad de Los Andes, which they completed in 2004. No additional certifications have been noted.
