Amanda Symonds

Amanda Symonds serves as the Managing Director for CarGurus UK and PistonHeads, overseeing operations since June 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Executive Coach and Organisational Design Consultant, where Amanda supported C-Suite executives in enhancing leadership effectiveness, and as Chief Growth Officer at Spotahome. Additional coaching experience was gained at MIT Bootcamps, while prior leadership roles at TripAdvisor involved significant contributions to marketing and product strategy in the Vacation Rentals group. Amanda’s earlier career features investment banking at Grant Thornton and auditing at UHY Hacker Young, complemented by an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Leeds.
