Avinash de Souza

Avinash De Souza is a seasoned professional in the automotive and software development industries, currently serving as System Lead for Compute Platform & Energy System at CARIAD since January 2022. Avinash leads the Energy System and complex compute platforms for the PPE platform within the Volkswagen Group, facilitating the launch of next-generation electric vehicles for Porsche and Audi. In previous roles at Bosch from June 2005 to December 2021, Avinash held various leadership positions including Solution Manager for Battery in the Cloud, Growth Manager for Engineering Software Services, and Team Leader for Embedded Systems and Software. Avinash's expertise includes product and project management in cloud solutions and software services, alongside a strong background in embedded software development and diagnostics for automotive systems. Avinash earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
