Dr. Thomas Günther

Dr. Thomas Günther currently serves as the Chief Launch Officer and SVP Vehicle Motion & Energy at CARIAD, a role held since July 2021, where Dr. Thomas also temporarily led the Solution Train E3 1.2. Prior to CARIAD, Dr. Günther worked at Porsche AG from October 2014 to June 2021, holding positions including Director of Development for Front-Engines and E-Drive Axle as well as V-Engines. Dr. Günther holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from the Technische Universität Dresden.
