Tanmay Nigam

Tanmay Nigam is a Deep Learning/Computer Vision Engineer with extensive experience in developing algorithms and software for object detection and classification in video data. Currently employed at CARIAD since February 2021, Tanmay previously worked at HELLA Aglaia Mobile Vision GmbH and dSPACE GmbH. Notable projects include a master's thesis focused on fine-grained classification of vehicles and various algorithm developments utilizing techniques like YOLO networks, K-means clustering, and deep neural networks. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechatronics Engineering from Ravensburg-Weingarten University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College. Early career experience encompasses engineering roles at Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd. and HSIL Ltd.
