Garvin Medera

Garvin Medera has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Garvin currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Caribbean Airlines Ltd since October 2017. Prior to this, they held various roles at Digicel Group, including Chief Executive Officer of Digicel Play, Chairman of Digicel Foundation, and Chief Operations Officer. Garvin also worked at Digicel Group from 2003, where they held positions such as General Manager - Tobago, Chief Technical Officer, Head of Planning and Optimization, Access Manager, Senior RF Engineer, and RF Engineer. Before joining Digicel, Medera worked at Telecommunications Services of Trinidad & Tobago Limited (TSTT) as a Cellular Systems Engineer and Engineer in Training. Additionally, they worked as a Part-time Lecturer in Telecommunications at The University of Trinidad and Tobago and as a Project Engineer at Century Eslon Limited.

Garvin Medera has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Oxford, a Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) degree in Finance from Harvard University Extension School, a Post Graduate Diploma (PgDip) in Organisational Leadership from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of London, and a Master of Science (MSc) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.
