Dalano R. Dasouza

Dalano R. DaSouza, PhD, Acc. Dir. is an accomplished academic and professional in economics with extensive experience in both teaching and analysis. Currently, Dalano serves as a Lecturer in Economics at The University of The West Indies, Five Islands Campus, and holds the position of Assistant Chief Examiner at the Caribbean Examinations Council. In addition, Dalano is the Editor of the Caribbean Insight periodical and hosts a podcast titled "A Lawyer and a Policy Analyst Walk into a Bar." Dalano has previously held roles such as Visiting Professor at St. George's University and Lecturer in Economics at The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus. Other significant positions include Senior Financial Analyst at LIAT (1974) LTD and Economist at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Economic Development Policy and a Master of Science in Banking and Finance from The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus.
