Sherland Sheppard is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and management roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Executive Manager Engineering at the Caribbean Industrial Research Institute (CARIRI) since August 2023 and as General Manager at Extra Construction and Engineering Limited since June 2022, Sherland previously held numerous senior positions at the Water and Sewerage Authority from September 1988 to March 2022, culminating in the role of Chief Executive Officer. Educational credentials include a Doctorate in Business Administration focusing on the transformation of the water sector from Brittany Universite’, a Master of Science in Asset Management from the University of the West Indies, a Professional Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business, an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Power Technology from the University of Houston.
