Prof. Andrew Spencer

Prof. Andrew Spencer has a strong background in academia and leadership roles. Prof. Andrew is currently serving as President at Caribbean Maritime University since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Professor and Deputy Executive Director at Mona School of Business and Management, UWI Mona from August 2020 to September 2022. From March 2017 to August 2020, they served as the Executive Director at Tourism Product Development Company (TPDCo). Prof. Andrew also held the position of Director & Senior Lecturer at UWI Centre for Hotel and Tourism Management from August 2013 to April 2017. Before that, they worked as a Lecturer at University of the West Indies-Mona Campus from 2007 to 2013.

Prof. Andrew Spencer earned a PhD in Tourism and ICT Strategy from Bournemouth University in 2011.
