Bryan Kohrs

Bryan Kohrs has extensive experience in scientific research, particularly in molecular engineering and drug development. Currently, at Caribou Biosciences since October 2016, Bryan has held roles such as Associate Scientist 1 and Senior Research Associate, focusing on projects related to biotechnology. Prior to this, Bryan worked at Amunix from July 2014 to May 2016 as a Research Associate in Discovery, contributing to the development of XTEN technology for enhancing pharmaceutical efficacy. Bryan's early work includes a Research Associate role at Johns Hopkins University, where investigations focused on cellular Multi-Drug Resistance mechanisms, and a position as a Staff Research Associate at UCSF, studying interactions of coiled coil tetramers with influenza inhibitors. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biophysics from The Johns Hopkins University, complemented by a minor in Mathematics.
