Gustavo Reyes is a Senior Research Associate at Caribou Biosciences since June 2022, with a strong background in research related to microbiomes and chronic kidney disease. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Research Associate in the DeRisi Lab at UCSF Medical Center, focusing on pediatric pulmonary infections and mNGS technology. At the University of Washington's Marcinek Lab, Gustavo studied mitochondrial bioenergetics in leukocytes from chronic kidney disease patients, showcasing expertise in isolating cells and utilizing Seahorse technology for mitochondrial assessments.
