Amy Hoots-Hendrix

Amy Hoots-Hendrix, M.S., has extensive experience in marketing, research, and communications, currently serving as the Senior Director at Carilion Clinic since April 2000. In this role, Amy leads teams focused on employee and patient communications, event planning, social media, and content development. Previous positions at Carilion Clinic include Director of Organizational Development, where responsibilities included developing HR goals and managing corporate communications and employee engagement functions. Earlier in their career, Amy worked for NewBold Corporation in various employee communications roles and as a Marketing Communications Specialist. Amy holds a Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Radford University.
