Celeste Fisher has a strong and diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Celeste started their career as a Staff RN at East Texas Medical Center in 2003, specializing in Medical/Surgical and Pediatrics. From there, they worked as a Director of Nurses at Marshall Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in 2004. Celeste then transitioned to The Hospice Of East Texas, where they held multiple roles including RN Case Manager, Clinical Team Leader, Director of Admissions, and Director of Outpatient Care from 2006 to 2015. In 2016, they joined UT Health East Texas as a Patient Safety Manager before moving to CHRISTUS Health in 2017. At CHRISTUS Health, they first served as an Ambulatory Care Nurse Manager and later became the Director of Clinical Practice & Standards until 2021. Currently, they are employed at Carilion Clinic, where they have held various leadership positions including Nursing Practice Director, Interim Senior Director Oncology, Med Surg, and Infusion, Interim Senior Director, Medical PCU and ICU, and their current role as the Senior Director of Nursing Quality and Transformation. Celeste Fisher has a diverse education history in the healthcare field. Celeste obtained a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Kent State University between 2022 and 2027. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler (UT Health) from 2017 to 2020, specializing in the field of Public Health. In 2000 to 2003, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at East Texas Baptist University.
