Lisa Uherick has extensive work experience in the field of emergency medicine and well-being. Lisa is currently serving as the Chief Well-Being Officer and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine since 2024. Prior to this, they worked at Carilion Clinic as a Pediatric Emergency Physician and held the roles of Pediatric Director and Director of Well-Being in Emergency Services since 2007. Lisa also worked at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin as a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellow from 2004 to 2007. Lisa Uherick began their career as a Pediatric Resident at Carolinas Medical Center/Carolinas Healthcare System in 2001.
Lisa Uherick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997. From 1997 to 2001, they attended the Medical College of Wisconsin and obtained a Medical Degree.
