Ragan Farris

Ragan Farris, RN, NI-BC, PMP, PMI-ACP, has extensive experience in clinical informatics and project management, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Informatics at Carilion Clinic since July 1991. Previously, Ragan held the position of Project Manager and was a Board Member at PMISWVA from December 2015 to 2019. Early career roles include Sales Support Coordinator at Datacare Inc, where Ragan demonstrated clinical software products and supported the sales team, and Associate Inpatient Program Director at HCA, where Ragan was promoted from staff nurse in under eight months to oversee a team for a 25-bed inpatient substance abuse clinic. Ragan holds a BSN in Nursing from Jefferson College of Health Sciences and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Nursing from Virginia Western Community College.
