Rodney Fultz

Rodney Fultz serves as the Senior Director of Quality and Operations at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, a position held since May 2006, with previous roles including Director of Quality and Patient Safety, Director of Business Consulting, and Director of the Center for Innovation. Fultz has a strong background in process improvement and project management, having managed the Performance Improvement group at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and provided project management for nursing services. Prior experience includes positions in operations management at Pepsi Bottling Group and corporate capital purchasing at Jefferson College of Health Sciences, where Fultz also served as an adjunct professor for healthcare management courses. Fultz holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.
