Stephen W. Lovern

Interim Vice President, Department of Surgery at Carilion Clinic

Stephen W. Lovern has been interim vice president of the Department of Surgery at Carilion Clinic since July 2013. Stephen was previously newsletter editor for the Roanoke chapter of the International Association of Administrative from August 2012 to July 2013. From July 2011 to July 2017, they were executive secretary for National Youth for Christ of the Way of the Cross Church of Christ. Lovern began their career as an administrative assistant to the executive director of Piedmont Community Services from May 2000 to February 2012. Stephen then worked as a senior secretary for Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services from July 1993 to April 2000.

Stephen W. Lovern has a certificate from the PCS Leadership Academy at Patrick Henry Community College, an AAS in Office Systems Technology from Danville Community College, and an Advanced Diploma from Tunstall High School.
