Sumanth Raja

Sumanth Raja has extensive experience in the field of business intelligence and process improvement, currently serving as Team Lead for Embedded Business Intelligence at Carilion Clinic since July 2015. Prior roles at Carilion Clinic include Business Intelligence Developer, Senior Process Improvement Consultant, and Process Improvement Consultant. Sumanth gained foundational experience as a Graduate Student Intern in Performance Improvement at UHS Hospitals from January 2014 to May 2015, where key contributions included statistical analysis and process mapping. Prior to this, Sumanth was a Graduate Research Associate at the Watson Institute for Systems Excellence at Binghamton University, focusing on healthcare performance improvement research. Sumanth holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Binghamton University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
