Dan Carlson is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Carina since May 2021, Dan's previous roles include Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder at Yave, as well as Application Architect roles at Waystar and its predecessor ZirMed. With a strong foundation in technology leadership established at MethodCare as Vice President of Engineering, Dan has also held directorial positions at IGT and Mariposa Software, where significant software advancements were achieved through strategic acquisitions and developments. Dan's career began at Cyberworks, contributing to software engineering before transitioning to managerial roles, and is supported by a degree from the University of Minnesota.
