Lani Todd has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the nonprofit sector. Lani started their career at SEIU Local 925 in 2010, where they served as a Legislative Coordinator for four years before becoming the Political Director. In 2015, Lani joined SEIU 775 as the Legislative and Public Policy Director, a position they held until 2019. During this time, they played a crucial role in shaping the organization's legislative agenda. In 2019, Lani moved to SEIU 775 Benefits Group and Carina, where they held the position of Director of Strategic Initiatives and Chief Program Officer, respectively. Lani'sexpertise in strategic planning and program development has significantly contributed to the success of both organizations.

Lani Todd completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics, Political Science, and Philosophy (combined) at Western Washington University from 2001 to 2005. Following that, they pursued their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in Labor Studies at the University of California, Davis - School of Law from 2007 to 2010.
