Nancy Tran

Nancy Tran has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2017, they worked as a Product Intern at Upstream Research, gaining valuable experience in product development. In the same year, they also served as an INFO 200 Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington Information School, where they led discussions, graded assignments, and contributed to the course's development.

In 2018, Nancy took on the role of User Experience Intern at Nordstrom, where they likely contributed to the development of user-friendly interfaces and digital experiences. Concurrently, they worked as a J.sweets Confectionery Retail Associate at Jalux Americas, Inc., where they assisted customers, recommended products, and maintained store cleanliness.

Nancy's passion for design led their to Carina in 2019, where they began as a Jr. UX Designer before progressing to a Product Designer role. Nancy Tran obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics: Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Washington, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Prior to their enrollment at the university, they attended Seattle Central College from 2012 to 2014 through the Running Start program. Nancy Tran also received their high school diploma from Franklin High School in 2014. In addition to their formal education, they obtained two certifications in 2022: "Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act: Business Associates V2.2" from Traliant and "Microaggressions in the Workplace (LBW)" also from Traliant.
