Russell Turpin

Chief Architect at Caringo

Russell Turpin has extensive work experience in the engineering and technology industry. Russell started their career at SES and Hyperformix in 1979, where they worked as an engineer until 1997. After that, they worked as a contractor for Eastman Kodak in 1998 and then started their own private consulting business in 1997. In their consulting role, they worked with various companies including Kodak, Cook-Hurlbert, Ambac Connect, Pavillion, and Activerse. During this time, they also co-founded Clickfeed in 1999, where they served as the Founder and VP of Engineering. Clickfeed evolved into DeepFile and later transformed into StoredIQ. In 2005, Russell joined Caringo and held multiple roles, including VP of Engineering and Chief Architect.

Russell Turpin attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1974 to 1978. During this period, they did not obtain a specific degree or focus on any particular field of study. However, they returned to the same institution from 1982 to 1992 and earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
