Maria Cecilia Nunes

Maria Cecilia Nunes has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. Maria Cecilia began their career as a Student Supervisor at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 2016. In 2017, they became a Visiting Scientist at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). In 2018, they began working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Wistar Institute. Most recently, they have been employed as a Scientist II at Carisma Therapeutics since 2022.

Maria Cecilia Nunes obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 2014. Maria Cecilia then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Morphological Sciences from the same university in 2018.
