Yuhao Huangfu

Yuhao Huangfu has worked in a variety of roles over the past few years. In 2021, they began working as a Research Associate Scientist for Carisma Therapeutics and as a Volunteer Research Assistant for the University of Pennsylvania. Yuhao also began working as a Lab Technician III for WuXi AppTec, where they performed Next Generation (NGS) using Ion Torrent Sequencers (Personal Genome Machine and Genexus) and Sanger Sequencing technologies to direct GMP testing as well as research and development. In 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant for Boston University. From 2017-2018, they worked as a Medical Residency in Clinical Pharmacy and ICU, Nephrology, Respiratory, and Cardiology at Sun Yet-sen University Memorial Hospital, where they examined and assisted with therapeutic strategies for patients, and performed studies of warfarin on arterial stiffness in endothelial cells and mice models.

Yuhao Huangfu has a diverse educational background. Yuhao obtained a Certificate in Genomic Data Science from The Johns Hopkins University in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Nutrition & Metabolism from Boston University between 2018 and 2020. Yuhao also obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Jilin University between 2013 and 2017.
