Olayiwola Olanrewaju

Olayiwola Olanrewaju has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. From 2013 to present, they have been working at Caritas Nigeria, starting as a Senior Clinical Specialist/ART Treatment Lead for the SUSTAIN project. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating and leading the treatment portfolio of over 48,000 patients on ART, ensuring quality, retention, and the activation of new treatment sites. Olayiwola then served as a Senior Technical Advisor/Lead for Clinical Services, where they oversaw the Care and Treatment unit and provided technical leadership for the Comprehensive ART Program. Additionally, Olanrewaju worked as an Associate Director, providing technical leadership, vision, and guidance for program deliverables and implementation. Currently, they hold the position of Director Care and Treatment, demonstrating a higher level of leadership and coordination on a multi-million dollar project.

Before joining Caritas Nigeria, Olanrewaju worked as a Clinical Specialist at Management Sciences for Health in 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Medical Officer/Lead ART Clinician at Daughters of Charity Services in Abuja from 2008 to 2012.

Olayiwola Olanrewaju obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology from the University of Ilorin from 1995 to 2000. Olayiwola then pursued a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Ilorin from 2001 to 2006. Olanrewaju furthered their education and acquired a Master's degree in Infectious Disease from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, they attended the College of Medicine, South Africa, and obtained a Diploma in HIV management.
