Aaron King

Aaron King has a diverse work experience in marketing, public relations, and communications. Aaron is currently the Director of Marketing & Communications at Caritas of Austin since 2023. Previously, they worked as a Client Success Manager at Propllr PR and Content Marketing from 2022 to 2023. Aaron also served as a Director at JDI (Jones-Dilworth, Inc.) from 2021 to 2022, where they built relationships with media contacts and developed PR and marketing strategies for start-up clients. Prior to that, Aaron worked as a Public Affairs Specialist at the Government of the District of Columbia from 2018 to 2021, where they oversaw web copy and managed marketing campaigns. Aaron also gained experience as an Account Executive at Silverline Communications and as a Media Assistant at Smart Media Group, LLC. Aaron started their career with various roles as a Marketing and Public Relations Intern and a Promotions Director at different companies.

Aaron King has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Quinnipiac University, which was obtained from 2011 to 2015. In 2019, they completed a Certification of Completion in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from General Assembly. Additionally, in 2021, Aaron obtained a Certification of Completion in Applied Project Management from Austin Community College. Aaron holds a Certified Kanban System Design (KMP I) For Marketing And Communications Teams certification from Excella, which was obtained in March 2018.
