Jessy Perez

Jessy Perez is an experienced Counsellor currently working at Ripple Effect Children's Services and Carizon Family and Community Services since September 2022. Previously, Jessy served as a Youth Addiction Counsellor at Ray of Hope Inc. and as a Housing Stability Worker at Choices for Change. With a background in group fitness instruction at Zumba and various hospitality roles at Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria, Jessy has developed a strong focus on service and community engagement. Additionally, experiences as a Food Skills Coordinator assistant at The Local Community Food Centre and Public Relations at Eby Manor highlight Jessy's advocacy for social issues. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Waterloo, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Development Studies, and additional training in culinary management and leadership.
