Michael Wojtowicz has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Michael began their career at ConAgra Foods as a Project Engineer and Operations Supervisor, where they successfully transformed and turned around daily operations. Michael then became a Senior Project Manager, responsible for leading the company's largest project for capacity increase.
Wojtowicz later joined Smithfield Foods, where they held multiple roles including Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Director of Process Lead, and Director of Business Development. In these positions, they focused on cost reduction, process improvement, and business growth.
Most recently, Wojtowicz worked at KILCOY GLOBAL FOODS as the Vice President of Operations. Michael led a team in turning around an underperforming manufacturing facility and was responsible for driving cost reduction, improving quality, and increasing team morale. Michael also played a key role in the design efforts for a proposed greenfield site expansion.
Currently, Wojtowicz is the Executive Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain at Carl Buddig and Company. In this role, they oversee a $1 billion revenue production, 2500 associates, and 7 sites. Michael'sresponsibilities include ensuring the production of high-quality products such as Buddig meats, Kingsford BBQ, and Old Wisconsin Sausage and Snack.
Michael Wojtowicz completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the DePaul Driehaus College of Business, where they attended from 2006 to 2008.
