Claudius Weimann

Claudius Weimann has extensive experience in machine learning, visualization, and optical technologies, currently serving as Team Lead for "Machine Learning" and previously in various leadership and research roles at ZEISS Group since January 2016. Prior to this, Claudius was a Research Associate at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology from April 2011 to December 2015, focusing on optical frequency combs and silicon photonic integrated circuits in industry-funded projects. Claudius holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, further complemented by a Master of Physics in Optoelectronics and Lasers from Heriot-Watt University and executive education from Hult Ashridge.
