Ulrike Boehm has extensive experience in the field of optical science and research. Ulrike is currently working at ZEISS Group as an Optical Scientist & Project Lead. Prior to this, Ulrike worked at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute as a Research Specialist, where they built and modified advanced light microscopes, supported life scientists in their imaging experiments, and developed new image and data analysis strategies. Before that, they served as a Postdoctoral Associate at the National Cancer Institute, focusing on understanding gene expression and developing advanced fluorescence labeling strategies. Ulrike also worked as a Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, where they combined advanced fluorescence microscopy techniques and contributed to the three-dimensional visualization of living biological structures. Additionally, they gained experience as a Student Research Assistant at Technische Universität München and the Leibniz-Institut für Ostseeforschung Warnemünde.

Ulrike Boehm's education history includes obtaining a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online in 2020, and a MicroMaster's Degree in Data Science and Statistics from MITx Courses in 2021.
