Almudena Sánchez Barthe

Almudena Sánchez Barthe has a strong background in finance and controlling, with a focus on achieving positive cash flow and optimizing financial processes. Almudena started their career in 1999 as a Finance Manager Assistant at HEFAGRA, where they gained experience in financial management. Almudena then worked as a Treasury Responsible at Unicaja in 2002 before moving on to Cable & Wireless in 2003 as a Financial Analyst, responsible for cash flow management and financial reporting. In 2004, they joined Draeger as a Controller, where they analyzed relevant data, implemented transparency projects, and developed business plans. In 2014, they joined ZEISS Medical Technology as a Business Controller, and later became the Finance Director, responsible for implementing effective credit policies, managing tax audits, and optimizing operational expenses. Almudena is currently serving as the Head of Finance Controlling and Operations, focusing on the design and implementation of financial management tools.

Almudena Sánchez Barthe completed a Directive Development Program (PDD) at IESE Business School in 2007. In 2002-2003, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IEDE. Earlier, they received a Licentiate degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Universidad de Granada in the period of 1996-2001. Lastly, Almudena completed an Executive Programm at Dealing with People from 2006 to 2011.
